Grasses Mug
This mug is wheel-thrown from English Porcelain, carved at the leather hard stage and under-glaze applied. It is then bisque fired, interior and exterior glazes applied, and undergoes the final firing.
I love how grasses bend in the breeze, so simple but in a group they can look like a whole choreographed dance. Peaceful.
The capacity of this mug is 12 oz. It could be microwaved or cleaned in the dishwasher, but all handmade mugs fare best over time when hand-washed. That being said, I often place my mugs on the top shelf of the dishwasher, or reheat coffee in the microwave with no issue.
