Anemone Mug
This mug is wheel-thrown from English Porcelain, carved at the leather hard stage and under-glaze applied. It is then bisque fired, interior and exterior glazes applied, and undergoes the final firing.
The anemone is a fun, fresh & simple flower that is always fun to draw, and comes in about every color, which also makes it fun to paint!
The capacity of this mug is 13 oz. It could be microwaved or cleaned in the dishwasher, but all handmade mugs fare best over time when hand-washed. That being said, I often place my mugs on the top shelf of the dishwasher, or reheat coffee in the microwave with no issue.
