Hand-built Urn Project

These three vessels were created by request for a local funeral home. They thoughtfully wanted to offer local, handmade pieces. I was humbled by the task to create in reverance and celebration of the lives of those in our community.

This piece was inspired by holding on to the beautiful and messy patchwork of memories we collect throughout our lives.
The vibrancy of the ocean, sea life, and a feeling of freedom inspired this vessel.
This piece draws on the specific imagery from the Wyomissing parks, and speaks to the free and relaxed feeling of being out in nature.
